Expeditions, Projects and Outreach

The Dinsdale lab at San Diego State University uses metagenomics to study the microbial ecology and genetics.

Sampling expeditions include forays into nearby San Diego marine environments such as Catalina Island, Mission Bay and San Diego Bay as well as international locations such as Chile and Brazil.

Members of the lab present Dinsdale Lab research at numerous national and international assemblies, including San Diego Microbiology Group meetings (SDMG), American Society of Microbiology conferences (ASM) and the International Symposium for Microbial Ecology (ISME).
